Jack: I shrugged. "Not at the moment. Are you?" I asked feeling shy for the first time. I realized our horses had brought us almost shoulder to shoulder and cleared my throat.

Owen: i leaned so far out the window that i almost took a tumble out onto the shadowed bleachers. yes! fortunately, i was able to regain my balance and make it over to the soundbox, ready to cue the music when they officially asked each other.

Miley:
i saw the sound guy almost fall out of the sound box. Rampage shied and started a run around the arena. he bucked and was literally flying in the air, like a bucking bronco. i sat deep in my saddle and pulled back on the split reins. we skidded to a stop and then i backed him up until he almost went into a rear. i trotted him in a small circle then we stopped. i made him walk slowly back to Warrior and Jack. i leaned over to Rampage's ear and whispered, "i cant believe you just embarrassed me like that." he shook his head and snorted, dismissing the fact.

Jack: I had to calm Warrior while Miley's horse acted up, finally calming him. "Well that was strange." I said and smiled. I then remebered what we were talking about and looked around a little. "Well since we both....Don't have a...date. Do you want to...Want to go with me?" I asked shyly and bit my lip in indecsion and unsuready.

Owen: at this point, i clicked on "Lara's theme" from Dr. Zhivago. Our best-laid plans were working perfectly! Duhduhduduhduhduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuduh, duhduhdududuhhhh..... Miley and Jack seemed to really be hitting it off. good thing, too, since Mick the sound guy was just tiptoeing up the fire escape with a coffee and a bag of what looked like scones. "thanks, man!" i whispered, sliding past him and down the narrow stairs. not wanting to be caught at the scene of the crime, i took off sprinting, hobbling into my boots, until i reached the stable. i flung myself over the half door into Ballerina's vacant stall, got up, brushed hay off my clothes, and pretended to be mucking.

Miley:
i was about to say 'yes' to Jack when i saw Owen start running away from the arena and into the stables almost tripping. "yea i would love to go to the ball with you." i said to Jack blushing.

Mick the sound guy: something odd was going on. i pulled up itunes on the computer, ready to download the songs that these two lovebirds picked for their reining routines. i tapped the intercom mic. "hello... sorry to interrupt, but what songs do your horses want to dance to?"

Jack: I smiled and jumped slightly whenever the tech's voice came over the intercom. I looked up to him and realized that I had forgotten my song. "I believe mine was um 'Ladies love country boys.' By Trace Adkins." I called up and saw him nod. "What was yours?" I asked smiling at Miley.

Mick the sound guy: "All-righty." i quickly bought the files and had them ready for use in seconds. "I'll put the two on repeat for you- to practice to."
OOC: if i have time this weekend between homewok projects, i'll see if i can get a slideshow ready with those songs on, so that people will know what they sound like for the competition!

Jacky: "Thanks!" I called up and looked back at Miley. "I've never heard of her. What genre is she?" I asked moving Warrior closer so I could hear her answer.

Miley:
"im not sure i just here all the time and i just like it." i said and sidestepped Rampage over to Warrior. he pinned his ears back and lowered his head. he turned his head away from Warrior. i clucked over to Stardust that was falling asleep. her slender legs straightened and her head arched over to us. "i actually am going to ask Sydney if i can breed Stardust to Samurai after the competition." i said to Jack. "im already starting to think of names, i actually like the name Bite My Dust. so that i can get the toughness out of Samurai and yet i still get Stardust in there." i said to Jack as Stardust woke up some more and whinnied. both Warrior and Stardust answered.

Jack: I smiled. "Samurai is a very nice Stallion." I tilted my head and thought for second. "It's gonna' be a nice foal. What gender are you hoping for?" I asked thinking that a colt from the two would make a great breeding stallion.

Miley:
"i dont know, maybe a filly or a colt. both would be good. if it was a colt then i could breed him and let his genes move to the next generation. if it was a filly, and then bred it when it was older, then i could keep the foal and raise it myself. i would actually prefer a filly though." i said and nodded at my decision. "i heard the Syd might be taking a job here at Berryhill as a the manager of the breeding department." i whispered to Jack. "so do you to see my routine? if you want you can TRY to ride Stardust to keep her awake while i do my routine." i said adding a little dare into the sentence.
