Arin: "good idea! heaven knows that blackthorne and i need some practice on steeplechase stuff.. and cross country jumps are just the thing!" Katie: "I suggest you go on the Glacier ridge trail," i said, peeping out of the office. "I make sure never to cut any of the logs that have fallen across the trail, like i do on others, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to jump."

Mary Anne: "Sounds Great!" I announced. "I still don't know the first thing about lyrical dressage, and i don't even have a horse, so I might do some research." I headed for the office and its computer.

Arin: "okay! good luck with the research!" i called to Mary Anne. "Sidney, Let's get to work on our tack... i'm thinking we'll be needing triple-cinch saddles and bags." i put blackthorne in the crossties, and began to pick his massive hooves.

Sidney: "Sounds good! I brought my old helmet along today and it's in my jeep. I hope it still fits! I'm going to run out to get it right quick and I'll help you with the tack" I said reaching into my pocket to dig out my keys. I fiddled with the black horse charm that hung from one of the rings and a smile crossed my face.

Arin: "you have your own car? cool! i want to see!" i exclaimed, jogging after Sidney towards the parking lot. "I'm saving up for my own... a really nice one, like a bug! for now, i have to borrow my dad's truck to go to and from the stables."

Arin: "sweet!" i exclaimed, trailing my fingers along its glossy, blue exterior. "maybe i should rethink getting a bug... they can't pull horse trailers, but i bet this one can!" i would have to consider somthing else for a future car- Blackthorne would need to be ferried about, once we started winning in the steeplechase circuit! "I already have my helmet by my saddle... let's hurry and go!"

Sidney: I reached inside and grabed my helmet, "It's a little dusty, a good gallop should clean it off! Lets get that tacked fixed so we can RIDE!" I said with excitement. This was going to be fun!

Arin: "YAY!" i did leap-overs all the way into the stable. Blackthorne wasn't scared, because he was so used to my dancing, but some of the other horses seemed less than thrilled that this crazy redheaded person was leaping about their barn. i had my Friesan tacked up withing minutes. the ornately tooled western saddle looked so comfortable... nothing like the wee jumping saddle i had been usong before for practice! "Hi ho silver, awaaaaaaaay!" laughed, as i trotted my horse up and down the aisles, waiting for Sidney.

Sidney: "There's my girl June! I said in a sweet voice. As usual June didn't give me a problem and I was tacked and in the saddle in no time. "Let's Ride!" I said with excitement to Arin.

Arin: "Yeah!" but, a slight nagging feeling was tugging at the edge of my mind... i really should be practicing. "how about we split up for about an hour, then meet back at the entrance to glacier ridge? i really need to get some steeple work in." i said apologetically. OOC: so they can meet their rivals....

OOC: ok!
"Um... ok! I'm gonna go for a nice gallop I think, see you later!" And with that I pointed June in the direction of the trail and nudged her inot a trot to start off.

Just becasue we're on a completely different track now, I'm going to simply say that Sidney's Father and Samurai are now at Sterling Stables and if Hotspot would like, she may lock this thread as it is no longer in service
