Katie: i followed amanda's mother back to the girls. "Well, for starters, we can find you a horse to borrow." i said, aiming towards the leasing section of the stables. "I need to assess how well you can ride before seeing about whether or not we can have celtic song trained in time for the competion."
Arin: "oh, goody! i'll have someone to hang out with while i wait for the mystery horse."

I said "Ok, that sounds good" I asked "Should I do some jumps or something?"

Mary Anne: "To keep Piper in condition, I'll jump with you, if you want! I'm a little new at the whole horse thing too, and I'd like to try a few small ones." I couldn't wait to see how Amanda could ride- could she even beat Berryhill?

I said "Ok, I would need to borrow one of the school horses for the jumps, since Celtic Song is not fully trained yet"

Katie: "thenwe're at the right place. meet the horses for sale or lease." i swept my arm over the many stalls containing sterling-owned horses. "the only one that's not for sale is Tinkerbell, my personal horse. all the others are yours to try."
Arin: "I'll help you with setting up the jumps. i would ride with you, but my poor Blackthorne hurt himself today, and can't jump. that's why the mystery horse is coming in-" i checked my watch- "an hour and a half!"

I said "Ok, well then..." I looked over the horses in the stables. Then I saw one, I looked at the name tag "November Extrodinair" I said "What about this one" pionting at the horse. I fell in love with him when I saw him, I wondered how he would do.

Katie: i nodded in agreement. "November's a great horse, and very well trained. He's an Anglo-Arab gelding, and is great at jumping." i said, grabbing his leadrope and halter. "let's try him out with you... english or western?"

I said "Ok" I walked over torwards November and got the tack, Starting with the saddle first I put it atop his back. But before I went any further I asked Arin for help, so I made sure that I was putting his saddle on the right way, becuase every horse is different with thier saddle. I learned that many times before when I have ridden. So I said "Ummmm, Arin could you show me if im doing this right?"

Mary Anne: While Amanda saddled and bridled November, I trotted out to the jumping arena to set up jumps.

Mary Anne: "Let's Go!" I called, and trotted Piper around the arena and up to a jump. He inspected the obstruction critically, then backed 5 paces, loped up to the jump, and Soared over! "Yay, Piper!" I congratulated him, and ruffled his ears, which he seems to like. "Go, Amanda!" I cheered as Amanda began to enter the arena.

I trotted into the Arena. I turned November torwards the jump, and went into a nice and smooth canter. We cantered nearer and nearer torwards the jump, and...we finally flew over it. I patted November on the neck telling him he was a good boy. It was not just me who had made it over the jump, but it was US who did, he did a very good job! "What should we do now?" I asked "Should we do a couple of more differnet jumps then do a course?"
