Trillium: i nodded vigourously. "Pretzel! that's adorable!" i exclaimed. Presul Aurora was a great name for the yearling filly. then, i noticed Miley coming over. i immediately felt sheepish; she had, after all, discovered the two horses, and could probably buy them from Katie- or be given them by her, for that matter- at any time. and of cours,e i had no rights to them...

Miley:
as i neared Trill. i smiled. i had found the two horses that she had. and i was hoping to sell them to Trill(shsssh). i walked closer and closer to Trill. "i see you have found Confection and Mocha." i said to her. "and they werent wild. Mr. Solcum used to own them. i think." i said it felt so long that i had talked to the BLM person that i couldnt remember what she had said. then i remembered. "Mr. Solcum didnt own Confection, well, thats not her name anymore, but Confection has a sister and Mr. Solcum owns her. so this mare i dont know if she is wild or not but this mare is just a mare that i found." i said. "so Trill, what ya goin to name her?" i asked in my southren drawl.

Trillium: i giggled, glad that Miley was being so gracious about the horses. "shoot, ah could name 'em after every last lizard in Darton county- i know all of them folks by their first names, ya know!" it was a pitiful attempt to poke fun at the reportedly colloquial Slocum, but fun worth having all the same. and then, i returned to my usual, drawl-less tone of voice. "Caramel Sensation is her sister, and is owned by Slocum. The persnickity stable that she was born at released her illegally so that she wouldn't interfere with Sensation's career on the show circuit. i have no idea about names, though- have any ideas?"

OOC: Sorry everyone! Been super busy...
Sydney: I moved on to Trill next, Miley would be right after Trill as I continued my rounds. "Hello Trill, what is your horses mood today?"

Miley:
"hmm.... what about Fudge Ripple, Fortune Cookie, Cinnamon Toast, Chocolate Surprise, Kentucky Rose, Millenium Rose, Red Sunset Sunsation." i said thinking of exotic names for the mare. "what do you think?"

Trillium: "Confection is doing great! she's happy, healthy, and loving all the attention." i said, giving the pretty, brunneous mare a pat. "Miley and i are just trying to think of some extended names. I think we'd better use 'Confection' in it, since she already answers to that, but any new names for the foal are appreciated." then, one of the last words that Miley said caught my attention. "Sunsation! i love it! although two -ion words in the same name might be a bit of a mouthful, maybe we can apply it to little missy here." i gestured at the foal, who was rolling in the sand wth glee. "if only we knew who her dad was- then we'd have a better idea of possibilities."

Sydney: "How long has she been running free Trill?" I studied the foal. Her confirmation was exceptional, like any pure bred, but I'd seen mustangs that had striking confirmations too.

Miley:
"the BLM agent never said." i told Syd. "for the foal, i had named her Mocha Lata, because of her coat color, and i know for a fact that Katie, has a mare named Mocha here all ready. Lata needs a new name too. hmm......... Candy Apple, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Sundae, Cinnamon Toast, Dazzle n' Daze, Dream of Mine, Angel of Mine, Evening Star, Expresso, Frozen Fudge, Ginger Spice, or Ginger Rose?" i said to Trill. i looked down at Rampage and Focus Flair. the two were getting along great. i smiled and thought of the two.

Sydney: "Hmmm....." I mused. "I was just thinking about something, wild stallions will sometimes kill foals from other stallions so I have to wonder if she was staying with a stallion, is the foal his? Personally, I think perhaps she was with a herd, otherwise she would not have survived this long and left to have her foal and knew that the foal would be in danger if she returned!"

Miley:
"good point Syd." i said and thought about it. the bay foal must be another stallions foal, otherwise the herd that the fudge chestnut mare would have been in. but why would the mare be drawn to civilization? i shook my head and tried to think this over. everything was really starting to confuse me. then i realized that i was the youngest rider at Sterlings and Berryhill. hmm... interesting, wait how did this have to do with the mare and foal. "the foal does have a very nice confirmation so she has to be the foal of a well breed stallion."

Sydney: "Or the foals genes took after the mares. DNA testing could at least tell us if one of the Berryhill stallions in the father. But if they came out negative then that would leave the mustang stallions. But why wouldn't the mare return to her herd after having her foal? I think the filly was sired by a stallion at Berryhill..." I said, making calculations of gestation time and assessing the mare's condition. She couldn't have been in the wild for a year, she looked as healthy as a well kept stable horse.

Theo: I heard Syd, Trill, and Miley discussing the two found horses' origins, while trying to come up with names. "Sublime sounds good with Sunsation!" I volunteered. OOC: Sorry, lacking inspiration! ;P

Trillium: i tried to remember exactly what Leigh had said. "we do know that Confection's sister, Caramel Sensation, was a purebred of some sort, since she was born for show." then, i snapped my fingers, coming to realization. "we can check online registries or show records for her name, and figure out her breed. and i think that Leigh said that..." i did the math. "she's about four years old right now. she was kept at Black Bluffs Stables until she was just about two-and-a-half, meaning that she's been wild for a bit over a year."
OOC: good point, Ps94... i think Rachel would have sold Mocha back to Sterling when she went back to England, so i'll add her to the 'horses for sale' list sometime!

OOC: your welcome. Miley: "yea Syd. that is a great idea." i exclaimed. the fudge chestnut mare couldnt have been a wild mare with her perfect confirmation. her foal did look like her mother, but she was more muscular. but if she was a wild stallions daughter than the Sunsation would have returned back to her herd. but since she didnt return then the filly must be a ranchers/stables stallions daughter! maybe she could be one of Berryhill's, Sterling's, or Stone Ridge Ranch's filly.

Milly: I heard the girls talking and called across the way. "I like Kentucky Rose and Ginger Rose. They're very lovely." I smiled then turned back to Dancer, placing weight on her back. "Easy girl." I whispered whenever she shifted slightly, it calmed her instantly and I leaned again this time she didn't move and I rubbed her telling her how good she was doing.
