Katie: i furrowed my brow. "Alex and Caden aren't competitiors, so i don't think that they're in the ceremony. but it's up to you, Ms. Pickman." i said. "Anyway, this is going to look amazing, but i hope it won't be too hard in the dresses."

Kale: "Sounds good to me." I said agreeably as I winked at Milly. She smiled and shook her finger at me.
Milly: I leaned down in my saddle placing my hand on Kale's shoulder to whisper in his ear. "Be good now, Kale." I whispered, kissing his cheek. "Same to you." He mumbled back, grinning.

Sydney: "Sorry Katie, but those weren't the two I was thinking. Though they should be included in the entrance, too." I wondered to myself how long it would take Katie to realize that she'd failed to include herself and Milton, who should most definitely as directors of the Stables be included in the Grand Entrance.

Katie: Oh, poshtosh. "I think that we're supposed to head the procession actually, Syd." I grumbled.
Arin: I snickered. Ketie was bright red. did somebody have a little bit of a grudge-crush going on??? "I won't tell if you won't." I whispered to Blackthorne.

Sydney: "Just checking. We wouldn't want dear Katie to weasel out of the grand entrance would we girls?" I said loud enough for everyone to hear. Katie blushed redder than my ball gown for the evening and I had to cover a giggle.

Sydney: I was glad I was wearing jods today, the sack/skirt was starting to get a little itchy. It made a soft, swish sort of noise as we rode and it made me think about our ball gowns. We'd really be swishy tonight!

OOC: blu is being peevish, and wasting all of her computer time on Horse Isle. pishposh! So i am going to take over the Ms. Pickman character for the time being until she repents.
Katie: We all steered out horses into line. At the front, I felt very exposed. Was Ms. Pickman going to mandate that we do something toally insane? i could just image us, ballgowns aflutter, capriole-ing up the stairs and into the Berryhill ballroom. what an entrance that would be! I gave Picky a beseeching look, hoping that she would choose wisely.
Arin: "What music will we be entering to? I heard someone say that this was practically choreography!" I exclaimed, excited.
Ms. Pickman: "I believe that we will be making our grnad entrance to... i'll surprise you. first things first, ladies. Now, you will all be riding through the woods until about the Berryhill boundary, where your partners will meet you. From there, you will proceed two by two until you reach the Berryhill lawns, from whence you will begin the ceremony. Each girl," i nodded to the line of riders, "will place the tips of her fingers on the palm of her partner. You, redhead," I pointed at the one boy. Kyle or something. "Hold your hand up, like you were feeding sugar to a very tall horse. Now, ah, Milly, balance your hand just so." I arranged their fingers. "Every pair will do this as you canter diagonally across the lawn to the beginning of the paved drive. let's being with that- pair up and give me a canter around the field... without dropping your hands."

OOC: thanks, Spot. and sorry for my extended absence, dear firends... my sincere apologies. Mary Anne: "Thrilling, isn't it?" I asked as I grabbed Sydney's hand, trying to imagine what it would be like with Theo holding onto my hand the whole way to the driveway. Would my palm get sweaty and clammy? Should I wear gloves? We cantered across the pasture one at a time, and I could tell by watching my friends that our dressage practice had helped, aleit an impromptu one-- they moved gracefully, lookign like pros. Ms. Picky: "Katherine, I still haven't decided what song to tell the string and band ensemble to play for the entrance. I was thinking 'Hoedown' from Rodeo, but that may be a bit too lowbrow. 'The Speckled Hen Overture' is another option." I muttered to Katie as the girsl cantered off. OOC: VERY IMPORTANT!! Here are some youtube vids of the songs i suggested being played. If you have any other ideas, please reccomend them or vote for one of these! Hoedown from Rodeo-- listen to the whole thing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqah1rucyRgSpeckled Hen Overture--listen to it from 5:05 until the end, but the first part might make good waltz music for the ball! www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8FQ2U5ly9Y(Spot and I played this song in 8th grade orchestra 3 years ago! I loved it!)

OOC: Ah! So hard to choose!!!!!! I love them both but I'm going to have to say Hoedown from Rodeo was my fav. Sydney: "Very much so!" I replied to Mary Anne. Even without music, the horses seemed to dance as they moved together. Tonight was going to be spectacular!

Milly: I grinned at Kale as we moved flowingly across the ground and sighed happily. I couldn't wait until tonight when I'd be able to dance with him.
ooc:Hey, maybe we could say the Hoedown from Rodeo for when we ride in and the Speckled Hen Overture for maybe a main dance that everyone dances to. Because all I can see as I listen to it is my characters dancing a waltz or something like that to it and then on to a faster dance and back to a waltz. IDK just a thought.

OOC: bonne idee, Liberty! I think that Hoedown is the perfect entrance song... it makes your pulse race!
Katie: "I think that Hoedoen is the better of the two for our grnad entrance." I said. "After all, we are way out west, aren't we? and the Speckled Hen is so varied that we can d multiple dances to it." I patted Tinker;s naeck- he was getting antsy, wanting to join the rest of the horses in their sojourn around the pasture. "We'll get to lead the pack tonight, Tink," I whispered to him. "Don't worry about it now."

Kale: "Sounds great." I said and smiled then looked around thinking about something. "Where's Jack and Miley?" I asked thinking that at least Miley should be here.
Milly: I blinked a few times and started looking myself. "Yeah, Miley should be here, if not Jack also. After all we all need to learn how to dance something together." I commented smiling and giving a little shrug.

WOW, i must have been whacked out on caffeine when i wrote that last post.... it's a coffee patch... the equivalent of three cups of coffee... you can stay awake for days with no side effects...AIIIIIIIUGH! Katie: I heard Milly and Kale wondering about Miley. I momentarily left Ms. Pickman to mutter Picky wisdom to herself. "Excuse me." Tink ambled over to Milly and Kale, clipping the grass as he went. "Miley still hasn't come back from Berryhill. She was there to mkae sure her horse was okay, of course." I pulled my phone from my pocket, and found that the inbox was still vacant. "I've tried calling Milton a couple of times, but he's not picking up. Maybe he's taming a wild mustang or something." I chuckled up my sleeve. Milton, taming a mustang? My eye. That wouldn't happen in a million years.
