OOC: stay put.... we don't want to overcrowd things. Arin: "Sure as shootin' i can!" i hollered, in a southern drawl, and grabbed a pitchfork from the rack. i also wheeled a wheelbarrow out into the middle of the aisle, to scoop the soiled hay into. "Now, let's bring the horses to the pature. we don't wat to have to scoop around them."

OOC: ok! Sidney: "Now you're talkin'! I can lead two at a time if they get along, but I don't know any of the horses good enough yet. Could you help me?" I said reaching for leadropes.

Arin: "of course!" i said, grabbing a handful of brightly woven leads from the closet. "let's see... we'll have to make five trips each. You can take June and Tinkerbell first. I'm sure they'll get along." meanwhile, i snagged the loops on the undersides of Blackthorne and Black Jewel's halters. "I wonder where Mary Anne and Yuliya are?"

Mary Anne: I had popped down to the Westwind paddock for a visit with Butterfly, and came back in time to help Arin and Sidney with the stalls. "Sidney, since you have all the great horse connections, do you know of a horse I could ride in lyrical dressage?" I asked as I heaved a pitchfork-full of fresh straw into a stall. "I'm kind of new to all of this, so the horse would have to be really good- so he could teeach me. If you don't know of one, there's always Here Comes Bob!"

Sidney: "I'll have to think about it. My dad only has racehorses and a couple of trail riding/pleasure horses. But I might have some friends that would loan a horse!"

Arin: "i guess you could ride orchestra, although she hasn't the patience for lyrical dressage." i mused. "i heard katie telling someone that she's tone deaf." i shrugged, and pitched a forkload of soiled hay into the wheelbarrow.

Sidney: "I've seen blind horses compete in Dressage before! Just because a horse isn't perfect, doesn't mean they can't do anything! She might would make a surpurb lyrical dressage horse."

Arin: i laughed. "Katie said that she's tried her with music, and she hasn't the patience to learn it. somthing like that takes time... and we only have a few weeks to practice! i bet there'll be lots of options for may anne."

Sidney: "let's take care of the horses at hand shall we?" i said leading June and Tink out of the barn. This competition was going to be a LOT of fun!

Arin: "Yup!" i said, clipping leads to two more horses and leading them out into the big paddock. "I wonder who from Berryhill will be competing in steeplechase, my event." Katie: feeling much better, i returned to the barn, my damp hair sending clouds of apple-scented steam into the early morning air. "I have the list of competitiors right here!" i flourished the sheet of paper. "I hope we can get a competitor from here to do dressage... but there's no one left."

Sidney: "We don't have a dressage rider signed up? Can we double someone maybe?" I asked, continuing with the horses and noticing that Katie looked much better. Although I knoew she was still tired.

Katie: "nope." i laughed. "we don't have enough people for one... but maybe someone will come along." my cell phone, sitting in my pocket, suddenly began vibrating madly. "one sec, guys..." i said, going into the tack room for some privacy. Arin: "i can feel it. it's a new member!" i said, going into a fake trance.
