I walked into the stables. My mom was going to go talk with the owner of the stables. Celtic Song was still in the trailer. My mom wanted to make sure she talked to the owner first, before taking Celtic Song out. We had just moved here. Before we moved I had found Celtic Song with one of her back legs caught in barbed wire. I calmed her down and called my mom on my cell. My mom asked if I could carfully get her out of the barbed wire, becuase she was still at work. I used a nearby stick to loosen the barbed wire from her leg. Eventually, Celtic Song was free again. Later when my mom got home I had told her more about what happened. My mom decided to call the animal cops and she told them what happened. They found out that she was being abused and that she was trying to escape. I asked my mom if I could look after the horse and she gave into me. My mom explained it to my dad later when he got home, and he agreed to. The next day, I looked in the same area I had found her yesterday for her. I had finally found her and she was prancing and I started to shush her. Then, she was about to run off, and without thinking I started to sing. The mare stopped and pricked her ears to me calming down. I slowley walked up to her and put a rope around her neck. I lead her home and my mom called the animal cops again, to tell them that we found the mare. Since we lived near town, we could not keep her at home, and we did not know of any stables nearby. So, my parents told me that we were moving anyways, and we moved here. My mom found us a stables to board Celtic Song at, witch is here. A couple days after we had moved here, before we had found a stables to board Celtic Song at, the animal cops sent us a letter in the mail, giving us more information about the mare. The letter had her age, breed, hands high, weight, color and description and other things about her. It had her past owners on it, and how they treated her. It had also said where and when she was born. Her original owner was a guy named Josh Mackinny. I read over how he treated her. He was pretty nice and he sung and played music for her ever since the day she was born. Thats when I decided to name her Celtic Song. Then 3 years later Josh had sold Celtic to Robert King. Robert King had abused her and eventually, she tried to escape, and thats when I had found her. (long story, I know. lol) I heard Celtic Song kicking in the trailer, and I walked out to calm her down.

Arin: i drowsily rubbed my eyes. it was evening, and i still had three more hours to wait for my mystery horse to arrive. Sidney was still out riding, and Mary Anne... well, who knows anything about Mary Anne? she and the horse she found in the woods were probably off getting accquainted somewhere. Katie, of course, was in the arena, working with Trillium on her dressage routine. so i would have to wait alone. suddenly, i heard an engine outside... could my horse be here already? i lept up off of the hay bale i had been snoozing on, and rushed outside. there was a horse trailer, all right, with somthing inside it kicking. and a new girl... not my horse, but we had a new member! i was thrilled. "Hi, there!" i called to her. i'm sure i looked a wreck, what with my wild red hair flying all over the place and mud splatters up my legs from this morning's eventful ride. She;d probably want to talk to Katie... "one sec." "Kaaaaaaaa-tieeeeeeee!" i bellowed, loud enough to reach the stable manager in the covered arena.
Katie Sterling: i heard Arin calling my name. had her horse arrived yet? it was impossible... i jogged outside to see a new girl. "Hi, welcome to Sterling Stables!" i said, sticking out my hand for her to shake. "I'm Katie Sterling, the stable owner. what can i do for you?"

I accepted to shake hands with the manager and then I said " Ummm, my moms here to talk to you" My mom approached us and started to talk with the manager. My mom said "Hello, I am Miranda" Since my mom was talking to the manager, I did not want to be rude and walk off, so I talked to the girl nearby, who had called for Katie. I walked up and said "Umm, hi, im, um, Amanda"

All the talent we need right now? What was Arin talking about? But I replied to her "Celtic Song is a little stubborn at times, but thats only becuase she has been abused before we got her"

Arin: "poor thing! but she has a gorgeous name- i dance to celtic songs!" i demonstrated with my favorite treble reel step, the one with a pointe turn and double heel clicks, while humming the Galway Reel. "can i see her?"

Mary Anne: I entered the barn after turning Piper out to the pasture. There was a new girl, with a gorgeous piebald horse talking with Katie and Arin. Arin danced a jig- or was it a reel? "Hey, howzit going?" I asked, unclipping my riding helmet and slinging it under my arm.

Another girl walked into the barn, asking how we were. I said "Oh, im new. And Arin was wondering if she could see my horse, you can come see to, if you want." I walked just outside where the trailer was parked and opened the trailer door. Celtic Song neighed and immediatley backed up. I grabbed her lead rope and clipped it on to her halter leading her out. I said "This is Celtic Song"

Mary Anne: As the new girl backed her horse out of the trailer, I gasped with astonishment. Her horse was a perfect piebald, with Oreo-like patches of black and white. "She's so pretty! What kind of riding do you do?" I asked, then added, "and hello, Celtic Song!"

I said "Well, I have ridden english and western so far. I know jumping, and western events. I know cross country and dressage to." Celtic Song neighed and nodded her head. I giggled and asked "Where should I put her for now?"

Arin: "i'll show you an open stall!" i said happily. "it'll be right next to the one my new horse will have... when she gets here." Celtic song was beautiful, and most likely very sweet, too. "it's great that you do multiple disciplines- i'm limited to anything jumping. i have no idea about dressage! i'm in steeplechase right now." i babbled, skipping down the barn row to an open stall. i had been passing the time by mucking out most of the empty ones, so it was sparkling clean with a fluffy layer of straw. "are you going to compete for Sterling in the big competition coming up?" i asked, holding the half door wide for Celtic Song.

I replied "Oh, your having a competition?" I thoght....How would I enter in the competition if Celtic Song had not been fully trained yet? I said "Ummm, I will think about it, I just got here, I will look into it, when is it?"

Mary Anne; "I hope you do enter... it'll be really fun, and we need all the talent we can pull together!" Then I added, "If you want to do something Celtic Song hasn't been taught yet, I'm sure you could lease a horse. My horse is only a yearling, so I'm only borrowing Piper... for now!" I said slyly. I wanted to keep Piper forever! Currently, I was trying to come up with a safe and legal plan to do so.

Arin: "it's going to start once everyone is ready... which could be any day! i hear we have a lot of new members, though, so probably after they all get settled in. And here's an idea: you could rent or buy one of the lease/sale horses that Katie has! there are some awesome ones!"

I thoght, I did not know if mom or dad would like it if I bought a new horse, but they are very nice and understanding parents. They would understand if I wanted a horse that I can acually ride, while I train Celtic Song. I could just borrow a horse for now. I said "Ok, I will think about that to, I will have to talk to my parents about it later." Thats when mom finally came back. She said "Ok, honey I talked to Katie. Oh, and you already have Celtic Song put in a stall. Did you want to look around or go home?" I thought about how Celtic Song would react if I left her alone in a new place, when I would not be here. I could spend a couple of nights here if Katie would let me. But then Celtic Song might get used to me staying here all the time. I had school to go to, and I had to go home and eat dinner, do homework. I could really only come during the afternoons, maybe lunch or activity break at schhol, and on the weekends. I said "Mom, I think I will stay here, you can pick me up later" My mom gave me a look that said "Impressive she said "Well, if you want, I'll see you later sweetie" She walked out of the barn and I heard the car drive off. I said "So, what can I do while im here?"
