Mary Anne: "Shall we dance? Because I really don't know how!" I said to Trillium. "And I think flats would be much better for some people, except me- I'm only 5'2" as it is, so I need some extra height!"

Sydney: "Oh please Trill, teach us how to dance!" I begged, "and I know what you mean about those Private schools. I tried it for about 2 months. It didn't work out..."

Trillium: "Go figure! there's a Houlihan-Berryhill scholarship at my school, for heaven's sake, to complement the Berryhill-Houlihan auditorium. so i had no choice. but, anyway, let's dance! pair up." i ordered. i sort of wished that we could get the boys of B-hill to come and learn the Viennese waltz, too, but that was asking a bit much.

Sydney: I walked over to Katie "Wanna be partners?" I asked. I considered my pjs and hoped that I wouldn't trip over them. And that I would be able to dance with someone at the ball.

Miley:
i walked to the tack room to change into my PJs. when i walked out it a gray tank top and red and black plaid plants that were too long for me. i watched Trill teach the girls how to ball room dance. i picked up my back pack and pulled out my Dell Inspiron lap top that was blue. i went on to google and looked up Linc Solcum's website. i searched through the Darton missing horse list and searched for a rightful owner of the chocolate mare and bay filly.

Milly: I sat straighter and looked at Arin. "I want to learn how to Salsa and Waltz!" I grinned and nodded my head vigorously in excitement. "I want outdance Kale." I said and grinned mischieveous (sp?) at the other girls. I loved having the upperhand on guys. It was fun to watch the shock on there faces.

Sydney: "I know what you mean! Guys usually think you like them if you loose to them. Or they think that you'll like them more if you let them win." I threw my hands up in frustration "I don't know, its just too wierd!"

Sydney: My cell phone which I always kept in a pocket in case of emergencies started to vibrate. I took it out and saw that it was my mom calling. "I've got to take this, I'll be outside!" I said over my shoulder as I headed to the barn door.
OOC: I did this since I'll be on vacation, Aloha!

Milly: "Yeah, and then when ever they do win they rub it in. Of course I'm a complete tomboy so I really go after them to beat'em." I said and grinned. "My Mom calls me a flrit for doing it. And I agree sometimes I am flirting with the guy." I gave a giggle and covered my face with my hand.

Miley:
as i searched and became glued to my computer, i saw a pic of Chocolate on the Gold Dust Ranch website. it read 'Missing 3 Year Old Chestnut Mare with a Fudgy Brown Mane. In foal to Dun and Dun It, a Liver Chestnut Stallion. Please if you find Caramel Sensation contact me, Linc Solcum at 216-553-8513.' "KATIE!!! come look at what i found on our wild mare." i said showing the page to Katie and the girls. "its on Chocolate and Mocha."

Milly: I read the info on the horses stopping at the owner's name. "I've heard of Linc Slocum. He's not a good horseman. Sees them as dollar signs instead of companions and friends." I said with disgust in voice.

Trillium: just as i was beginning to direct my friends into formation to learn a waltz, Sydney left to answer a call from her mom and miley seized the opportunity to check something on her laptop. i shrugged. "oh, well. we can wait."
Katie: "i'll be your partner, Syd!" i exclaimed. but, then, we momentarily disbanded. Miley came streaking in. she told us that the mystery horse and her foal belonged to Linc Slocum. "How annoying!" i proclaimed, exasperated. "he has good staff, and his son, Ryan, is an excellant horseman. but, he and his daughter, Rachel, simply seem to have no care for horses in the least. she recently bought one because it matched her hair... that was a lovely morgan mare." i began to chew on a fingernail, pondering. "wait- isn't he in jail for tax evasion?" i asked, a lightbulb pinging on above my head. "we'll see what the BLM agent says tomorrow, but i'm pretty sure that his estate is in the more capable hands of his son while he's serving time. we'll hvae to see what happens, but hopefully it will turn out fine."

Milly: I gave a leap of happiness. "Yeah! Ryan's supposed to be really nice so maybe he'll just give them to you or something like that." I began to dance goofily around the room singing off key the 'Some day my Prince will come' song.

Mary Anne: "Yep, I'm pretty sure Slocum's in the chokey!" I crowed. I had met the man once, waiting in line at Crane Creek mall. It had certainly not been pleasant, and if he treated a helpful salesgirl and the girl in front of him in line (me!) like tha, he couldn't be much nicer to horses!
