Xera had Loss go into a trot. Her hair was tied back in bun and she was wearing tan breeches and a black sleeveless shirt. "Good girl!" she said praising her horse. She had taken a long time today grooming Loss and she thought that she had done a good job. Losses main and tail where bradded and her cote was shining.

Sydney: I walked up to a new girl and her beautiful horse. I gave a nod and gentle wave, careful not to spook the horse.

Xera looked over her shoulder and saw another girl a little farther behind her. She slowed Loss down a little bit to let the other girl catch up. "Hi, I'm Xeralynn but you can call me Xera," She said as the other girl caught up.

Sydney: "Nice to meet you too Loss" I said to the horse. "Wow, 14 years! It really shows, you're very relaxed in the saddle which relaxes your horse. You know your stuff." I thought to myself, if the girl had been riding for 14 years, since she was four, how old was she?

Loss gave a snort when she herd her name. "Ya, it started out as a hobby but became a passion." She replied. "The instructors at the stable I rode at in Germany where very strict about riding, but they where also relay fun." She replied with a smile on her face. "So how long have you been riding?"

Sydney: "Since before I could walk, my dad is a thoroughbred trainer. I started helping with small chores around the training barns while learning how to ride on my own little pony. Then I grew into my first horse and began training thoroughbred with my dad. My mom keeps the books on things, the stuff dad and I wouldn't do because we're always at the barn. So you're from Germany? That's cool." She has to be around 16 I thought to myself. Wow, she came all the way from Germany to Sterling Stables, that's awesome!

"Cool! What did you train them in? Racing?" Xera asked. She loved the feeling of racing, it made her feel completely weightless. "Ya I'm from Germany. My family moved to the U.S. when my brother and I where about 11. So I've been in America for about 7 years.

Sydney: "Yes, my father and I trained race horses. And whenever one of them didn't seem fit for the track we schooled them into proper riding horses or jumpers even. That's how I got started in Eventing, but Racing is my passion."

"Cool! Jumping is my passion. It is so much fun, especially on Loss. She is so big that she lonches herself over the jumps. Loss is my baby the only other being that I am almost this close to is my brother Rex." Xera replied with a smile.

Katie Sterling: i strode into the stable from my car, and was happy to discover a brand-new rider and a lovel piebald talking to Sydney in the aisle. "Hello, there!" i said cheerfully. "Welcome to Sterling Stables. I'm Katie Sterling, the owner." i held out my hand for her to shake.
