Alisa leads her horse into the huge barn. The white arabian nickers at the other horses. " It's okay, Vanilla." Alisa whispers.
Alisa Smith walks around cluelessly, trying to find a place to put her horse.

OOC: welcome, hokulover! just a couple of quick things:
1. please write in first person.... like "i ate some candy" instead of "she ate some candy." it's more personal that way!

Katie Sterling:
it felt good to do a little manual labor- i had been so busy lately taking care of bills, accounts, and registrations that i hadn't mucked a stall in days. my riders, of course, hd kept the stable spotless, but i needed to feel the thrust of a trusty pitchfork once again.
Straightening up from raking soiled straw from Tinker's box stall, my eye caught someone entering the stable. "i new arrival!" i sang out, to no one in particular. i leaned my tool against the pinewood wall and jogged out into the aisle. a young blonde girl, leading a light grey horse, was coming down the way, looking lost. "Hello!" i said, extending my habd for a shake. "I'm Katie Sterling, the owner here at Sterling Stables. i suppose you're looking to register?"

"Yes" I said. "I've been looking around -the trails look beautiful-
you've got a wonderful stable here." Vanilla nickered at the girl, and I blushed. "Um..I know my horse isn't exactly a show horse like these." I said pointing at the horses in the stalls. "But I am an ok rider." I wiped sweat off my forehead and took off my blue sweatshirt. "Oh, by the way, my name's Alisa Smith." I said,starting to smile.

i smiled at poor alisa- she seemed insecure, but that would undoubtedly change here. "Oh, they're not all show horses," i laughed, giving her pretty horse a pat on the shoulder. "Fortune, over there, is best at reining. Tinker's a jumper, the Baroque twins are endurance racers, and Phoenix is still being trained to be-" i shrugged- "whatever he feels like. Your horse will fit in just fine! we have every breed from Connemaras to Freisians to Mustangs to Thoroughbreds to Akhal-Tekes to those that we don't even know." i gave her a benificent smile. "It's nice to meet you, Alisa. i'm sure you'll enjoy our stables and the people and horses here just as much as our trails."
