Milly: We came up to the gate into the indoor arena and I dis-mounted walking over and opening it. "After you ladies." I said bowing gracefully.

Sydney: "Thanks Milly" I rode June through the gate and began trotting around the arena. I rose and fell in time with her movements, posting then practiced my 3 point jumping position. "Shall I set up some jumps for us?"

Milly: I smiled. "welcome." I lept back onto Lyra's back and moved up next to the others. "Well I'm cross country so..Yeah I'll probably need to practice jumping." I said smiling and kicked Lyra into a ground eating canter to go around the ring and stopped next Sydney.

Mary Anne: I rode in following Syd and Milly. "Does anyone mind music to practice to?" I asked, lugging a CD player in from the office. "I know Arin won't mind- it's irish dance music!" OOC: If you want to listen to the song, watch this movie! It's of Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, the most famous Irish dance school in America! They have a professional touring company (which is obviously a lot better than this!) (my life goal is to tour with them out of high school!) and it is the one Arin supposedly toured with prior to coming to Sterling! I actually have met some of the dancers in the video! www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR99pWEt7AE

Sydney: "I was going to ask if we could put some music on, I'll set up some jumps" I dismounted and led June to where the jumps were being kept. I brought out 3 jumps to start and began setting them up. "Hey Milly, I'm not a coach but I do have a good amount of experience in cross country, is there anything I could help you with?" I offered. OOC: That video and music is soo awesome Blu! Here's a video I found of the exact same thing but from a different angle www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLStGKIaLJI&feature=related

Miley:
"ohh Milly your doing Cross Country! Justin is your competition!" i said. i walked Rampage into the arena and waited for my sister. she followed and we walked around the arena once then moved into a jog/trot, then a canter. to warm up our horses. then we changed direction and did the same thing the other way.
Alex:
"ok Miley, lets start with some trots and then stopping so you can feel how Rampage. then we are going to have to work on your routine and you are going to have to pick a song to Rein to." i said to my sis. she did as i told her and she was lucky that Rampage was a world champion Reiner.

Sydney: Once the jumps were set I sent June into a canter and we circled the jumps. Then I turned her towards the first one, a low fence only about 2 feet high which she took in stride. The second fence was 3 feet high and she handled it with ease as well. The 3rd fence was set at 4 feet and June flew gracefully over the fence landing clear on the other side without dropping or even touching the rails. "Good girl June!" I praised with a pat on the gray mare's neck.

Milly: I smiled and thanked Sydney for her offer. "Well I've done it before. so I guess I don't need to know anything." I grinned at Miley's comment then heard her say she was doing reining and laughed. "Well you're up against Jack." I said then laughed all the harder. "What do you thjnk, Miley? We going to beat those boys?"

Mary Anne: I went through some of the trickier moves Theo had taught me, after warming up with walking, trotting, cantering, and lateral gaits. I was still amazed at how much Piper obviously knew about lyrical dressage that I didn't! "I think that the Berryhill boys are positively doomed!" I crowed, considering that Milly, Miley, Sydney, and myslf were all up against one of them!

Sydney: "After I get warmed up I'll be changing over to Sam. I think I'll bring him into the arena for some fun and just give him an easy day. Work on commands and ques. Not that he needs it!" I concentrated on my signals to June, I sent her in a circle at a trot, and asked her to lengthen her stride using my legs. Which she did beautifully.

Milly: I cantered toward the jump, Lyra smoothly going over the jump. I slowed up and smiled at the girl menecingly. "They'll never know what hit them." I said then gave a evil laugh. Lyra danced around the ring and I gave a small light tug on reins to calm her then grinned at the others laughing. "I truly believe they are beat." I siad and nudged Lyra toard the 4 foot gracefully going over it and landing lightly on the other side.

Amanda:
I walked into the ring leading November. I had just come to the stables from trying on the dress I wanted and had changed into my riding clothes. I saw someone setting up the jumps and I led November to the side, staying out of the way. I put my foot into the stirrup and got into the saddle. November held still the whole time. Then I wondered when I would have time to train Celtic Song. There were to many things going on right now to train her and I did not have the time. I started to warm up November and gave him a squeze to walk. When I went to go check on Celtic Song earlier she was acting up. Half rearing and snorting. Neighing for my attention. I had sung her a short song and gave her a treat. But when I left she started to act up again. I just did not have the time at all for her training, maybe after the ball and competition I would have more time. Then by the next competition maybe she would be ready to show, depending how long away the next competition would be. I had started to trot November around the ring.

Sydney: "Me too! I'm going to go get Sam ready and put June away. Don't have all the fun without me!" I added as I exited the arena. In the barn, I untacked June and gave her a once over grooming, put her back in her stall and brought Sam out. I tied him in cross ties and groomed and saddled him. "Are you ready to go train big guy?" I gave Sam a kiss on the nose before bridling him, something I had always done. It was a good thing I was using a regular saddle, otherwise I'd need a boost to reach the stirrups. I put my boot in the stirrup and hopped into the saddle. Gathering my reins, I rode Sam to the arena.

Amanda:
I started to canter November and then I gave him another walk lap. I then saw no one else was on the jumping corse and decided I should try the jumps. I could not wait to jump, I had not jumped in awhile since I was on vacation with my parents, I barley rode my grandparents horse, and I was training one of thier horses so I had no time for jumping. I walked up to to the starting piont and then kicked November into a canter. He immediatley sprang into one and we were off. I flew over the first one and then cantered onto the next, cleared it and kept going, no faster or slower. I stayed at the same pace and kept flying over the jumps, not missing one of them. I crossed the finsh piont and slowed November down, patting him on the shoulder saying "Good boy, November" Then I heard a familair neigh from the stalls, I knew it would be Celtic Song, but I could not check on her right now, I was practicing. I thought about what would happen if I were to buy November from Katie. If I did Celtic would be acting up and I would have to practice with November to keep him in shape and I might compete with him more. I felt sorry for leaving Celtic behind and I would not want that to keep happening. I would have to see how the competition goes and then I think about it more later.

Milly: I watched Amanda go over the jumps and clapped when she finished. "You're a wonderful jumper, Amanda." I then heard a neigh and some commotion. "Who's that?" I asked looking at where the sound had come from.
