Sydney: "You couldn't possibly imagine how I used to hide from the press" I said, following Trills directions. "Dad almost hired a bodyguard for me once after a reporter followerd me all around at an event. I convinced him to let me take Martial Arts instead. I won out because one, it was another form of much needed excersise and muscle building for me and two, the lessons were cheaprer than a body guard" I said with a sly grin. As I continued about the room dancing with Katie I thought about all of the recent excitement. And the bright hope of the future that I had almost completely lost.

Mary Anne: I attempted to follow Trillium's directions, but stopped when Milly and I appeared to be just the sam eheight. "Rock-paper-scissprs, sudden death, to see who's the lady!" I said, doinga paper sign and trying not to interrupt Trill. Then, to Sydney, "Maybe that will help with dancing?"

Katie: "yeah! i take yoga classes in Darton sometimes, and they really help with balance and control on horseback, not to mention dancing!" i said, pivoting on a bunny-slippered heel to promenade to oppostire direction. "i can't beleive you have paparrazzi crazy enough to trail you around an event though- they could get trampled!"
Trillium: "promenade the other way!" i said, directing the dancers back. "now hands together... circle... look at each other, and try not to laugh."

Sydney: "Dad wasn't as worried about them as he was me. But the horses could have been in danger with the paparrazzi running around the stables. We try to keep the stables quiet so the horses can relax. You can't do that with a bunch of reporters running around." I followed Trills directions again and a though occured to me, is this what a Dressage horse feels like? I covered my laugh by clearing my thought. Dancing wasn't so bad, around friends. What would happen at the ball?

OOC: Who recommeds that we wrap this up so the ladies can go to the dress fittings post-haste? i (I mean Mary Anne) just can't wait!
Mary Anne: I tried to get soem ideas for my lyrical dressage routine from the quadrille pattern. "Swing yar pardners!" I hollered randomly.

OOC: Sounds good to me!
Sidney: I burst out laughing at Mary Anne and couldn't pull myself together. "That's even funnier than in So Dear to my Heart!" I said between a roar of laughter.

OOC: let's wait until liberty and ps94 have posted again, so we don't leave them in the dust. where are those two?!?!?!?!? and, we have to figure out who everyone is "going out" with, per say.
Katie: "I'm about done!" i laughed, as we skipped down the middle isle of people dancing. "after galloping to the rescue earlier this evning, and then dancing my slippers off, i think it's about time to wind down."

Miley:
i closed my laptop and watched everyone laugh. i was tired and i needed something to eat really bad. "im gonna get a snack, anyone else want one?" i didnt want anyone to know that i like Owen or kissed him for that matter. i quickly sprinted off to my bag and pulled out a bag of popcorn, a water bottle, and a huge chocolate bar from Hershey. i ran to the office to put the popcorn in the microwave. i siped my water and waited for the popcorn to finish cooking.

Sydney: "That Karate's gonna pay off when I use the stretches I learned to loosen up tomorrow!" I flexed my right knee which still carried the pain of a previous injury, I better wrap that tomorrow too I tought to myself. "Trill, I think I can actually walk out onto that dance floor without making a fool of myself. Thank you so much!"

Mary Anne: "Yes, thank you, Francesca!" I teased Trillium. "We're sooo going to represent Sterling well!"

Sydney: "Sam and I will need to breeze tomorrow Katie, where do you think we could work?" I asked, thinking about the great workout Sam put in today. But racing through fields wouldn't help us prepare for the race.

Katie: "hmmm... the trail would be nice, for a bit, since it's so soft and loamy, but the only real racetrack around here is at Berryhill's, of course. maybe you can sneak over for a lap while the rest of us have Milton cornered, trying on tuxes. I'm sure Miley would want to go with you!" again, though, Miley had disappeared. maybe she was bashful over some boy, and didn't want the rest of us to know....
EVERYONE: the barn party is still the barn party, and will not progress until ALL members have confirmed a week or so when they will be able to post regularly! this does not include next week, when blu and i will be stuck in the boonies (very willingly! with horses and baby bunnies!) with no internet, except maybe a bit on a mercurial laptop.

Miley:
i walked back to the barn, with my water and popcorn. i got a full fist of popcorn and stuffed it in my mouth. "what are you talking about?" i said with all the popcorn in my mouth. i had heard a little bit of the conversation. "sure Sid, i would love to go over to the racetrack with you. i usually am over there by like 3:30, 4:00. i got a few laps in then some of the Berryhill guys come out and run on the track. i go every morning and ride with Owen a little." i said. "ill get the horses ready for tomorrow."

Milly: I blushed at there teasing and shook my head. "Of course I'll be dancing with the red head. He a sweet guy." The dancing truly started and I followed the directions giggling uncontrolibly and trying hard to stop. "I can't breathe." I gasped and stopped catching my breathe laughing still. I stood watching the others and put my arms up when I caught my breathe fully looking at MAry Anne. "Shall we dance, Mary Anne?" I asked with a stiff upper lip then smiled.

Mary Anne: I collapsed on my cot, out of breath from the Virginia Reel. "You're sure to take the redhead's breath away, Milly! You have some major dancing skills!" I said, catching my breath.
OOC: To the dress place? Now that we're all present and accounted for...
