Cyrus:
"This is her stall, number 12," I said, motioning to the half-door. I loved this part of the stable, probably because number eleven was the stall my Mr. Darcy was in. I made a smacking noise with my lips so the old Thoroughbred would come to put his head out the stall.
"Hey there, old guy."

Cali:
I followed Cyrus to stall number 12 and nodded. "Wow, thanks." I said and looked inside. Mist would like it here, I nodded in approval. "So, do you think I could bring Mist today?" I asked him as I watched his horse walk up to the door of his stall.

Cyrus:
"Oh yeah, I'm sure Mr. Darcy would love some company." I made a motion to the stalls on each side of 11, both of them were empty.

Cali:
I nodded, "Great!" I exclaimed again. I was truly excited! "Okay, I'll be back in an hour then." I said and smiled at Mr. Darcy.

Cali: I nodded and walked out to my dad's car. I briefed him on what was going on as we drove to get Mist. ************* An hour later, dad and I pulled into Berryhill Stables and parked, Mist in the trailer. I smiled at my dad and got out, and unloaded Mist. I walked her to her stall and looked around for Cyrus. Mist nuzzled me for the carrot I had in my hand and I handed it to her, giggling.

I looked up as Cyrus walked in and complimented on Mist. "Thanks." I said blushing slightly.

Cyrus:
"Do you need help with getting her settled in?" I asked. "When you can't, I'll be taking care of her. I do the stalls 10 through 20."

Cali:
I smiled. "Okay, thanks." I said opening the door to her stall and putting her in. "Well, I've never had a horse before, could you help me settle her in?" I asked, it sounded kind of corny, but I did need the help.

Cyrus:
"We should first get her some hay, and then give her a little bit of lukewarn water," I said. I left to go get a haybale and chop it in half to carry over to Mist.

Cali:
"Okay." I said and watched him walk off to get hay. I turned to Mist and stroked her muzzle, she sniffed my hand and nickered softly for more carrots. I laughed and handed her one and she munched on it happily.

Cyrus:
I came back with the hay in one arm and the bucket of water in another. I put it in thr haynet carefully, cringing a little bit. Haynets only seemed like another thing horses could get hurt on, but Mr. Milton insisted.
"Do you know how to put on a flymask?"

Cali:
I watched him intently for future use, following everything. "Do you know how to put on a flymask?" He asked. I nodded slowly. "Yeah." I said simply, figuring I talked to much, I didn't go into the story about my past at the stable I used to ride at.
